We offer injectables such as Botulinum toxin type A, dermal fillers such as Restylane®, Perlane®, hydra-fill®, Softline, Juvederm and IPL photorejuvenation. Botox is suitable for dynamic wrinkles and photorejuvenation for superficial wrinkles and improvement of skin texture. A combination of these procedures can achieve superior results. [ Botofacial™ ]

We can use dermal fillers for static wrinkles or for deep wrinkles which form as a result of years of muscular activity and do not go away despite Botox. Dermal fillers are also the preferred treatments for areas around the mouth and lower face. Sometimes a combination works best and treatment approach will be discussed at your initial consultation.

An ideal dermal filler probably does not exist. There are various types of dermal fillers in use today. Some are permanent/ semi-permanent but we do not use these as these are not the safest type of fillers and a good filling may appear artifical a few years later as our face changes further. This may result in unsightly lumps and bumps which may be very difficult to get rid of.

We prefer Restylane® as it has 11 years of safety data behind it and has been used for more than 11 million treatments worldwide. It is non-animal and no skin testing is required. We also like Radiesse™ and prefer it in certain situations.

If you would like us to use the latest dermal fillers then we can offer you Hydra-fill™, Softline™, Juvederm® or Juvederm ultra®. There are more than 100 different dermal fillers in the UK and some of the newest fillers do not have long term safety data and we avoid these.
